Jim Vincent managed to get an image of Saturn using a Philips Toucam webcam. No sign of
enkes division though.
Jim Vincent took these images of Mars using a Philips Toucam webcam. The first one was
taken on Saturday 23rd August 2003 and is made up from stacking 600 individual frames. Sinus Sabaeus can easily be seen as the dark elongation near the centre of the
disk. The second was taken before midnight on the 2nd September 2003 and is made up
from stacking 300 frames. Using exactly the same setup, you can clearly see how quickly
Mars is receeding since its opposition on the 27th August.

Robin Cordell captured this shot of Mars in the early hours of Sunday 24th August 2003.
Extracted from a video sequence using his camcorder held up against the eyepiece of his
8" telescope.

Dave Smith imaged Mars from the Dengie Peninsula in the early hours of Sunday 3rd
August 2003. The final result is a stack of 12 images taken with his Nikon Coolpix 4500
camera.

Three Mars photos taken by Brian Boggenpoel early in the morning on the 26th July 2003.
Taken using a Kodak DC240 and a 12" Maksutov.

This image was obtained by combining the two images above in Paint Shop Pro. It gives a
much better impression of what can be seen through the telescope. Image taken by
Dave Smith.

The Moon. 2400hrs GMT on 29/05/01. Image taken by Dave Smith.

Saturn - This is the result of stacking about 20 images. Images that hardly showed the
Cassini division were rejected. Image taken by Dave Smith.

The Sun - 21/05/01 around 1600hrs GMT using a homemade Baader solar filter. Image
