An Awesome shot of the North American Nebula by Jim Vincent. This image was taken using a
Starlight Express SXV camera mounted on a 60mm refractor with a focal reducer. Exposure
time was approximately 1 hour and is a compsite of red, green, blue and H alpha
components.

Another great shot by Brian Boggenpoel taken in the early hours of Sunday 11th April.

The observing site was on the island of La Palma over four nights (17th to the 20th
August 2001),a period of gusty wind and poor seeing for that location.
This shot was at the prime focus of a Brandon 94mm F7 refractor using a Nikon camera body
attached via a 2" adapter. The mount was a Vixen GPDX with SS2K software and guided
using an SBIG4 autoguider. The film used was Kodak Elite Chrome 200. Exposure times
for the colour varied between 45 and 20 minutes, the latter being due to concern over the
gusts of wind we were experiencing.
