The clouds parted for a short while to allow Jim
Vincent to get an image of comet liner 2002T7. This comet will be a naked eye object next
May (2004) - possibly mag 0.0. Unfortunately it will only be visible south of the equator
when it is at its brightest.
Here's a picture of Ikea Zhang on a very windy night at the Dengie peninsula.
Exposure was 10 mins on the Tak Epsilon on kodak portra 400 NC. I think it was
taken on 7th April 2002, but I need Ron to confirm, as he took some shots at the Dengie
that night to, and unlike me he kept a record of them. Image taken by Brian Boggenpoel.
200mm f5 15 minutes on Ektachrome 400 (29 March 1997 Thetford.)
Another superb picture of Hale Bopp by Ron Mansfield
50mm f2.8 10 minutes on Ektachrome 400 (29 March 1997 Thetford)
A nice picture of Hale Bopp also taken by Ron Mansfield showing very clearly the
blue tail. Can you see the double star-cluster of Perseus in the top-left?
